Abby Gros Dufrene holds her Bachelors of Science from Nicholls State University and her Master’s of Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Abby began practicing at The Center for Pediatric Therapy in May of 2016.

Abby provides occupational therapy to children and adolescents with a focus in the areas of self-care skills (i.e., feeding, dressing), instrumental activities of daily living (i.e., household chores, simple meal preparation), sensory processing, and fine motor development (including pre-academic and handwriting skills). She has led groups at The Center for Pediatric Therapy in the areas of handwriting, motor coordination, and feeding. She is also an occupational therapy provider for the Virtual Academy of Lafourche in Thibodaux.

Abby has attended continuing education courses and conferences in the areas of feeding (with a sensory and oral motor approach), sensory processing, and related factors affecting those on the autism spectrum disorders.

Abby is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana. She now resides with her husband, Mark, in Raceland, LA.
